SUPPORT WORKERS (DOMICILIARY CARE & ENABLING)
Full & Part-time Opportunities
£10.00 per hour (with initial starting rate during probation of £9.66 ph)
Due to increased growth and development of our services, we are looking for Support Workers to work in our Domiciliary Care & Enabling Services for older people and people with disabilities in Bideford and the surrounding area. We are passionate about supporting people to continue to live independently at home.
You will support individuals with a range of activities including personal care, community access, preparation of food and household chores, and promote daily independence skills.
Lone working is required but only following full training and a shadow period.

What we are looking for:
- Drivers with a clean licence and access to own vehicle with full business use insurance.
- Ideally you will have either one year’s experience in the care sector or a QCF in Health & Social Care.
- Travel and mileage time paid.
- Full uniform provided for Domiciliary Care workers.
- Fully paid induction, e-learning training programme and shadow shifts.
- Progression opportunities available.

Are you committed to making a difference and helping people within your local community? We're looking for people with the right attitude, skills and personality to make real things happen for adults with learning disabilities and autism.
Providing person-centred support, you will be required to be flexible and responsive to change. It will involve working evenings, weekends and overnight (either waking or sleep-in). Full time hours are 37.5 hours per week.
You will be supporting people in a variety of different settings from single occupancy homes, their family home, shared supported living.
A clean driving license and access to own vehicle with full business use insurance is essential.
