NIGHT SENIOR SUPPORT WORKER
37.5 hrs pw (5 nights in 10)

Starting pay rate £11.40ph (rising to £11.80 ph after a succesful 6 month probationary period)

Summary of role
To provide excellent leadership to ensure that people with learning & physical disabilities can take as much control over their life as possible, respecting their preferences and choices, and enabling them to participate in the community as valued citizens.
The post holder will need to be flexible and responsive to change.  The position is a waking night position.
We are looking for:
  • An organised individual to lead the development and implementation of person centred plans and to manage day to day support for individuals within the service.
  • An effective communicator to liaise with staff, parents, senior staff and third parties clearly and concisely both verbally and written.
  • A confident leader who can build a strong ethos of vision, improvement and flexibility.
  • A flexible and adaptable individual who can think on their feet to manage a busy service.
  • Someone with a positive attitude and a willingness to develop new skills.

SENIOR SUPPORT WORKER in SUPPORTED LIVING
Full Time position of 37.5 hrs pw based in our Westward Ho! services.
Starting rate of £11.40 ph, rising to £11.80 ph
after a successful 6 month probation period

Responsibilities
We are looking for a motivated individual to assist the service manager with a range of leadership responsibilities, to include providing supervision and support for an identified team and reviewing and maintaining care and support documentation.
 
The post holder will be supporting people in shared supported living services based in either Bideford, Barnstaple or Westward Ho!.
Working Arrangements
Weekdays, evenings, weekends and sleep ins on a rota basis.

SUPPORT WORKERS (EARLY BIRD)
Two positions of 20 + 12 hrs pw - with shifts from 6-10am
From £10.10 - £10.30 per hour

Summary of role
The key purpose of the role is to provide excellent support to people with disabilities whilst respecting their preferences and choices, enabling them to participate in their community as valued citizens.  The post holder will need to be flexible and responsive to change.  It is likely to involve working evenings, weekends and overnight (either waking or sleep-in).

  • Supportive and caring individuals to promote independence & choice, help people achieve their personal outcomes and develop new skills through person centred planning.
  • Confident individuals to support people through physical care, assistance or prompting in accordance with individual care plans, respecting dignity and preferences.
  • An organised individual to assist people to access mainstream and specialist services and agencies that promote their health and wellbeing.
  • An effective communicator who can share information as appropriate whilst maintaining confidentiality and data protection requirements in line with policy.
  • Someone with a positive attitude, who can demonstrate flexibility and resourcefulness and a willingness to develop new skills.

(with initial starting rate during probation of £10.10 ph)

We're looking for people with the right attitude, skills and personality to make real things happen for adults with learning disabilities and autism.
Providing person-centred support, you will be required to be flexible and responsive to change.  It will involve working evenings, alternate weekends and overnight (sleep-in) on a rota basis. Full time hours are 37.5 hours per week.
You will be supporting people in shared supported living settings based in Westward Ho!.

SUPPORT WORKERS (DOMICILIARY CARE)
Full & Part-time Opportunities
£11.40 per hour

Due to increased growth and development of our services, we are looking for Support Workers to work in our Domiciliary Care Services to provide high quality personal care for older people or people with disabilities in Bideford and the surrounding area.  We are passionate about supporting people to enable them to continue to live independently at home.
You will provide person centred support in response to each individuals needs.  You will typically carry out multiple visits to people in their home and travel time and mileage between visits will be paid.
Lone working is required but only following full training and a shadow period.
What we are looking for:
  • Drivers with a clean licence required, and preferably access to own vehicle with full business use insurance although we do have company vehicles that could be used.
  • Flexibility to work over 7 days including evenings and possibly some nights.
