Volunteer as a support workers or an assistant in one of our services and make a direct difference in the lives of those we support. We have three services that you could volunteer in: Day Service, Residential Service, or Supported Living.

Volunteer as a gardener

Share your love of horticulture and work alongside the people we support taking care of our grounds, allotments, raised beds, and our potting shed plants.

Whether you are an experienced plantsman, or are looking to build your gardening skills, this is a perfect opportunity for all! A knowledge of gardening would be helpful but we are happy to consider those with less experience and help guide you in the process.

Volunteer with the Merryatrics!

Support the adventures of the Merryatrics! The Merryatrics, is a FREE community-based activity group for older people in the local area. The group reconnects isolate individuals, builds relationships, and provides a supportive network for the elder community. Read more HERE.

As this is free and self funded by the trust, volunteer help can go a long way in helping keeping this group alive and active. Offering a life changing network for elderly people in the community.

The group meets every Tuesday for a yoga session and Thursday for a variety of activities. As a volunteer you could help support some of the activities we host, such as game shows, craft sessions, trips out in the community, and so forth.

How To Become A Volunteer

With every role we will offer you full support, guidance & mentoring. An enhanced DBS will be undertaken alongside two references.

Volunteer as a driver

Volunteer as a driver and assist with helping those we support get attend our Day Service or get to and from activities in the community.

You will need a Full UK category D1 or B driving license, aged over 21 with more than two years driving experience, and be competent to drive our minibuses

Volunteer as a gardener
