Harlum Brings Home First Place!

Harlum, who we proudly support through our Supported Living Service, attended the English Para Surfing Championships at Fistral Beach, Newquay, on the 11th of July 2026. Para surfers from across England and Europe gathered at Fistral Beach eager to show their skills and passion for surfing.

Competing in the Para Prone 1 Open division as part of Team England's Para Squad, Harlum competed strongly and delivered an excellent performance to place 1st in his open division! Another huge achievement for Harlum after picking up two podium spots at the European Para Surfing Championships back in November 2025.

Harlum has dedicated countless hours to developing his skills, regularly attending surfing sessions and undertaking additional training to continue progressing toward his dream of becoming a full-time professional para surfer. Reflecting on his journey, Harlum said he is "so proud of himself and how far he has come with his para surfing."

Likewise, we’re so proud of Harlum and to be supporting him and his surfing journey. He is an inspiration to us all and a true testament to living life without limits. Congratulations on another podium and first-place finish!
